Above all, Home Run Inn is a proud, family-owned business—one with deep roots in the city of Chicago. In 1923, the original Home Run Inn location opened as a small tavern on Chicago’s South Side. In 1947, after that baseball made history, Mary and her son-in-law, Nick Perrino, crafted the iconic Chicago pizza recipe known today. Is the cheese already partially cooked? I might get roasted, but I can't tell which side is the cheese side from these pictures. I've also never had this brand of pizza before either.

Which side of this pizza is the cheese side? This is the Aldi sold Home Run Inn small pizza. In a prev post I said I put it in upside down .
I can tell even through the wrapper. The cheese topping looks much different than the bottom. Mine doesn’t carry it but another local grocery store chain does. It’s basically not a frozen pizza. The ingredients list is basic, even.

I very likely would have made the same mistake. Lol, not sure if they still sell them, but at the Publix's in Florida they would sell the thinner crust version and it had the same browning on the cheese out of the box. Your pic makes it look a bit easier than it actually is to tell them apart... I just feel like that first one is obviously the cheese side….if you look at the crust you can see the cheese going over it. Regardless, that pizza is delicious.
